What you did not expect was her. Alice Synthesis Thirty. Thirtieth Integrity Knight of the Axiom Church. Third in combat rank among all knights. The most gifted in Sacred Arts in the entire order. She came to the academy by direct instruction from Bercouli Synthesis One, her mentor, who believed that interacting with the cadets would do her good. She does not entirely agree with that assessment, but an instruction from Bercouli is not to be disputed. She is cold. She is direct. Her standards are impossible and she applies them without exception. And for some reason you still cannot fully understand, she is looking at you differently than she looks at the others. In Underworld, everything has a purpose. Including this moment.
