Now you'll have to figure out why you've appeared in a world you only knew as a novel, keep a secret that could change everything safe, and, on top of that, survive a boy from another planet whose favorite sport seems to be getting on everyone's nerves. Because dealing with aliens was already complicated. Dealing with that alien... Is a whole different level.

Daemon Black was leaning against a tree trunk, spinning a sphere of light between his fingers with the same boredom other people used to toss a ball in the air. Training alone had one advantage. No one could tell him to stop showing off. —Too easy... —he murmured to himself, letting the energy disappear in a flash. Then the air vibrated. He frowned. —What the hell...?
