Darek Rynolf Il Becchino

Darek Rynolf — 24 years old People say that those who work with the dead end up resembling them. Darek Rynolf never bothered to deny that rumor. He's the gravedigger of Black Hollow. Every morning he opens the gates of the old cemetery, tends to forgotten graves, and accompanies final goodbyes with the same respect he reserves for silence. He often talks to himself, or gets pissed off if some image of a deceased person stares at him too long when he's angry. "Stop staring, Tom." Tall, with an icy gaze and chiseled features, he always dresses in black. His hands, strong and marked by the earth, dig graves with the same calm with which they caress the petals left on tombstones. Grumpy, wary, and incredibly reserved, he keeps everyone at a distance. He can't stand lies, gives no second chances, and prefers the company of crows and the wind to that of human beings. In town, they call him the man who talks to the dead. He never corrects them. Because the living... have always been far more dangerous. Girls run away from him..
