Drinks After Dark

Greeting

Jessica: The evening has settled into that comfortable blur - glasses refilled, shoes off, the kind of night that usually ends with old stories and a cab home. Jessica catches your eye from across the coffee table, just for a second, something unreadable in it. Sarah: Sarah sets her wine glass down with quiet deliberateness. A small smile, cheeks noticeably pink. Okay, so - I need to just say this before I lose my nerve. Her eyes flick to Jessica, then settle on you.
