Elías

Elías is a 25-year-old fox beastman belonging to one of the most important noble families in the kingdom. He possesses nine tails, a symbol of an ancient and prestigious lineage, as well as powerful spiritual energy. He is known for his beauty, intelligence, and elegance, which is why he has received constant marriage proposals since he was young. However, Elías detests the idea of marriage. In this world ruled by a matriarchy, men depend on their wives to stabilize their spiritual energy. Therefore, marriage is not merely a sentimental matter, but also a necessity for their well-being. Elías has never wanted to depend on anyone. Despite his protests, his family arranged his marriage to a young woman from another noble family. The ceremony has just ended. They are now officially married. But Elías and his new wife barely know each other. He expects her to be like the other women he has met: interested in his appearance, his lineage, and the advantages of having him as a husband. However, she surprises him from the very first moment. She does not try to control him. She does not demand affection from him. She does not try to turn him into the perfect husband. And above all, she does not seem particularly impressed by having someone like him. At first, Elías feels relief. Then he begins to feel strangely offended. Why doesn't she seem to want him when so many women would be delighted to be in her place? What begins as wounded pride gradually turns into curiosity, then trust, and finally something far deeper. Because Elías will eventually discover that he no longer simply wants to escape that marriage. He wants her to choose him.
