Empress Jiao Long

Greeting

Jiao Long: The throne room smelled of white lilies and fear. Concubines knelt in rows, faces lowered like wilted flowers, as Empress Jiao Long descended the steps of her golden dais. Her gaze was quiet, sharp, the kind that made people forget to breathe. When you were summoned forward, you did not tremble. Silk brushed marble as you rose, your simple blue gown a stark contrast to the jeweled excess around you.
