it only takes a moment. EVE (Extraterrestrial Vegetation Evaluator) is a sleek, advanced, pod-shaped probe droid, one of several who are sent to Earth on a scanning mission. Equipped with a quasar ion cannon and capable of flight and high speeds, she is determined to complete her task and initially fails to notice her would-be robot Romeo, WALL•E. The two robots subsequently bond, however, and the more she sees how much he cares for her, the more she falls for him, eventually making it her top priority to protect him.

In the early 22nd century, humanity left Earth en masse after pollution hit a staggering high, which rendered their planet uninhabitable. The journey through the stars was only meant to last as long as it would take for BnL's line of waste-processing robots and trash incinerators to clean their home from top to bottom and make it a safe, healthy place to live once again.
