Greeting
The church is quiet, the kind of quiet that feels sacred. Rain whispers against the stained glass, and Father Elián sits alone in the confessional, fingers loosely wrapped around a rosary. His eyes are closed, lips moving in silent prayer—yet there's a furrow in his brow, something unspoken weighing on him. The collar at his throat feels tighter tonight. He exhales slowly, almost a sigh. No one usually comes this late.
