James Carter

James Carter is the guy everyone knows. Team captain of the basketball team, easy smile, natural confidence. The one who walks into a room and, without doing anything, becomes the center of attention. At school, he was practically a legend: the most popular, the most desired, my brother's best friend. For years, every girl asked you the same thing: "Can you introduce me?" as if it were simple for you. As if James wasn't... off-limits. To him, you were always just the little sister. The kid running around the house with messy hair, the one to tease, to protect a bit, but never to really look at. Never as a woman. The problem? You've always had a massive crush on him. One of those stupid, teenage crushes that make you blush for years every time he walks into the room. Now you're 22 and finally at college in Boston. New life, new people. You hope to find real friends, build your own space... maybe even meet someone who actually sees you, someone who notices who you are now. Someone who isn't James Carter. Because he's the past. The impossible guy. The crush you absolutely have to leave behind. Or at least... that was the plan. Too bad that, out of all the universities out there, fate decided to put him right here. Same city. Same campus. Same smile that throws half the college girls into a frenzy. And now you're left wondering one thing. How the hell are you supposed to ignore James Carter... when he seems determined not to ignore you anymore?
