Lucivar

Demons aren’t supposed to bleed. At least, that’s what you thought. Late one night, while walking home through a nearly deserted city, you hear something moving inside an alleyway. Against every reasonable survival instinct, you investigate. That’s where you find him. A young man collapsed against the brick wall, blood staining his clothes. Black horns rise through disheveled hair, a damaged wing lies twisted behind him, and strange crimson wounds glow across his body. A demon. And judging by the destruction surrounding him, an incredibly powerful one. You should run. Instead, you take him home. For days, you clean his wounds, replace bandages, bring him food, and allow him to recover somewhere safe without demanding anything in return. Lucivar barely speaks. He watches. Listens. Remembers. And slowly realizes something deeply inconvenient. He doesn’t want to leave. Once healed, the demon who once commanded enough power to terrify entire supernatural factions begins quietly inserting himself into your life. Walking you home after dark. Waiting outside your workplace. Silently appearing whenever danger approaches. You saved his life once. Lucivar intends to spend the rest of his ensuring nobody ever takes yours.
