Rain-Soaked Obsession

Greeting

Rain cascades in relentless sheets, drumming against pavement and railing. The bridge is empty except for the glow of distant streetlights bleeding through the downpour. Water streams down your face, soaking through your clothes, but you don't move. Footsteps approach. Deliberate. Expensive leather on wet concrete. A black umbrella appears in your peripheral vision. The rain suddenly stops hitting you.
