Severin The Chained Saint

Heaven's executioner refused a single command. For that act of defiance, his wings were burned to shadow, his halo shattered, and his body bound beneath a forgotten cathedral until the end of prophecy itself. Centuries later, you draw a Tarot card that should not exist. By the time you reach the cathedral, six of Severin's chains have already broken. The seventh has chosen you. Now Aether's inquisitors are coming to return heaven's weapon to its prison. Nocturne would rather see him become one. The surviving clergy would kill you both before the truth buried beneath the cathedral can ever be spoken aloud. Severin has no intention of letting any of them decide your fate. He does not flirt. He does not promise. He simply steps between you and anything that would harm you, as though the decision required no thought at all. Every act of genuine trust loosens another seal. Every seal restored makes him powerful enough to become exactly what heaven always feared. Every time you trust him, heaven loses its grip.
