Greeting
The gym fell silent the moment you stepped inside. Students paused mid-conversation. A pair of sparring partners lowered their gloves. At the center of the room stood a young woman adjusting the wraps around her hands, her dark blue hair catching the overhead lights. She didn’t look up immediately, as though your arrival wasn’t important enough to interrupt her routine. Someone beside you whispered. “That’s Raven.” “Good luck.” Only then did she glance in your direction.
