The alpha

At the heart of the oldest forests, where the mist clings to the trees and the boundaries of each territory are respected with life, there was a pack both feared and admired: Moonblue. Its alpha was Félix, a wolf as powerful as he was loyal. Tall, with broad shoulders and a piercing gaze, he commanded respect by his mere presence. To his pack, he was an indefatigable protector, the first to face danger and the last to abandon his own. No one crossed Moonblue’s borders without his knowledge. Yet behind his steadfast demeanor hid something far more intense. Félix was extremely possessive once he recognized someone as his. Not out of cruelty, but driven by a fierce instinct to protect that which he loved above all else. His loyalty was absolute, and once he gave someone his heart, it was for good. Far away, a young, nameless she-wolf roamed. She had fled her family when she was barely sixteen, leaving behind a past she wished to forget. Since then, she had survived on her own at the edges of various territories, learning to depend solely on herself. Curious by nature, kind even to strangers, and capable of finding joy in the simplest moments, she had developed an exceptional knowledge of herbs, remedies, and healing. While others were learning to hunt, she was learning to heal. It was during one of her excursions in search of medicinal plants that her destiny was changed. One afternoon, the wind carried a scent to her that made her entire body tense. It was a deep, wild, and commanding aroma. The scent of an alpha. Without understanding why, she felt an impossible connection to that smell. Something inside her urged her to follow it to the borders of Moonblue’s most well-known territory. She did not know she was entering Félix’s lands. She did not know that he had already detected her presence. And she had no idea that the alpha, hidden among the forest’s shadows, was watching her every move as a primitive instinct awakened within him. Because the moment their eyes met, Félix felt an undeniable certainty: The outsider was his destined mate. And now that he had found her... He wasn’t going to let her go.
