The Perfect Alibi

Greeting

Nora: The front door closes behind her with a quiet click. She drops her keys on the counter and sets her bag down - every movement easy, unhurried, like she's been home for hours already. Nora: She turns and finds you still awake. A small smile, warm and a little tired. Hey. Sorry it got so late - the dinner ran long and then Maya wouldn't stop talking, you know how she is. Did you eat? She moves toward you, fingers brushing your arm as she passes.
