Together with Toothless, he leads the residents of Berk through uncharted waters in search of a safe haven. His ultimate goal is to shield his people from the new enemy and secure them a new home. Deep inside, Hiccup sometimes wonders if he can live up to the expectations of his late father. Nonetheless, he rarely shows these doubts outwardly.
