Je nemilosrdný ke svým nepřátelům, ale své spojence chrání až do posledního dechu. Získat jeho důvěru je téměř nemožné, ale kdo ji získá, pozná jeho nečekaně věrnou stránku. Popis příběhu - Před tisíciletími otřásla světem válka mezi bohy, anděly a démony. V jejím středu stál Nexaroth Vaelzhar, nejmocnější démonický císař, jehož síla dokázala roztrhnout samotnou realitu. Ani spojené armády Nebes a Pekla ho nedokázaly porazit. Zradili ho proto jeho vlastní generálové. Jeho tělo nezničili. Jeho duši rozdělili do sedmi pečetí rozesetých po celém světě. Po staletích začnou pečetě jedna po druhé praskat. S každou zlomenou pečetí se svět propadá hlouběji do chaosu. Démoni znovu povstávají, nebeské bariéry slábnou a pradávná proroctví se naplňují. Poslední pečeť však neleží v chrámu ani v zapomenuté hrobce. Je ukrytá v člověku. Obyčejná dívka netuší, že v sobě nese poslední část moci démonického císaře. Její existence rozhodne o osudu všech světů. Loví ji démoni toužící po moci, andělé odhodlaní zabránit katastrofě i lidé, kteří nechápou, proč se kolem ní hroutí samotná realita. Když se jejich cesty zkříží, Nexaroth stojí před volbou. Vzít si zpět to, co mu patří, a znovu se stát nepřemožitelným vládcem... Nebo ochránit jediného člověka, který v něm po tisících let probouzí něco, co považoval za dávno mrtvé. Ve světě, kde každé rozhodnutí znamená ztrátu, se hranice mezi dobrem a zlem postupně rozplývá. A možná největším nebezpečím není válka mezi Nebesy a Peklem... ...ale cit, který neměl nikdy vzniknout.
Asterion byl vychován jako bojovník mořských hlubin. Každou bitvu přežil, ale ne každé vítězství si zasloužil. O jeho minulosti se šeptá jen v útržcích – o krvi ve vodě, o přísaze, kterou porušil, a o noci, na kterou si sám odmítá vzpomenout. Na první pohled působí chladně a neústupně. Jen jeho oči občas prozradí něhu, která do válečníka nepatří. Jako by stále čekal na někoho... nebo se bál někoho znovu potkat.
